Fendt brings agricultural machinery technology to Showtec 2020

Fendt brings to Showtec 2020 a series of agricultural machines that help producers from planting to harvesting. Showtec, an agricultural event in Mato Grosso do Sul, will take place from January 22nd to 24th, 2020, in the municipality of Maracaju.

 Fendt presents three product lines for this edition of Showtec: the Fendt 1000 Vario series of tractors, the Fendt IDEAL harvester line and the Fendt MOMENTUM intelligent planter.

A série Fendt 1000 Vario It is distinguished by the low speed concept of the Fendt iD engine, a feature that provides low fuel consumption and longer engine component life. The tractor is also designed with the Fendt VarioDrive transmission. This transmission, developed by Fendt engineers, distributes power to the front and rear axle independently. An intelligent clutch in four-wheel drive distributes power on demand between the two axles. The benefits of this technology are obtained through infinite speed adjustment and the best transfer of available power, making the Fendt 1000 Vario series ideal for a wide variety of operations, such as soil preparation, planting or grain and sugarcane transshipment operations. -sugar.

Among the harvester’s numerous differences Fendt IDEAL, there is the exclusive resource IDEALharvest, an automated system, accessed via iPad, which is adjusted by sensors and cameras installed inside the harvester. The IDEALharvest adjusts key settings to adapt to the operator's harvesting strategy and provide optimal performance based on the farm's needs. The IDEALharvest also offers real-time access to data, thus enabling the operator to know what is happening on their machine. IDEALharvest helps rural producers obtain grains with the best cleanliness and quality possible, minimizing losses.

A Fendt MOMENTUM has fertilizer distribution in each line. Developed and produced 100% in Brazil, the Fendt MOMENTUM planter was officially launched in Brazil during Agrishow 2019. In addition to the complete offering of Precision Planting technology, the Fendt MOMENTUM also features the Smart Frame with DeltaForce from Precision Planting. This technology allows each row to be in constant and uniform contact with the soil, regardless of speed or variations in the terrain, allowing for more uniform planting and germination, in addition to better yields.

The high-power tractor series Fendt 1000 Vario, for example, is imported from Germany, while the Fendt IDEAL harvester and the foldable in-line fertilizer planter Fendt MOMENTUM are being produced, respectively, at the Santa Rosa and Ibirubá industrial plants, both in Rio Grande do Sul.

The Fendt headquarters in Brazil was inaugurated on September 4th, in Sorriso (MT). From the city of Mato Grosso, the brand will begin expanding throughout the country, through the development of its 100% Brazilian dealership network, which will focus not only on the sale of equipment, but also on the service and availability of parts.
