UPL participates between the 12th and 13th of June at Digital Agro 2019, in Carambeí (PR). The fair for integrated solutions for the countryside is promoted by Frísia Cooperativa Agroindustrial. At the event, UPL will highlight the OpenAg concept, of open innovation, and will be responsible for the “women's space”, aimed at encouraging and valuing female participation in agribusiness.

Two lectures will be held at the company's stand: on the 12th and 13th of June, from 11am to 12pm and from 15pm to 16:30pm, with the agronomist and coach, Ronara Lasmar, and the agronomist and specialist in agribusiness management Alessandra Decicino, columnist for Women in the Field Portal. They will talk about the performance and leadership of women in agriculture, skills needed for the present and the future, in addition to presenting trends and indicators of female work in the agricultural universe.

“Digital Agro is another excellent opportunity to present UPL's OpenAg concept to rural producers, which is to be a company that understands the production system, proposes innovative solutions and combines chemical and biological products with digital agriculture. Everything in a sustainable, productive and economical way”, says UPL's market access manager, Marco Polo Pinheiro Lima.

Among UPL's strategies, the topic of technology for applying phytosanitary products inserted in the digital scenario is presented through the UPspray cell phone application, free to the public. This tool encourages and guides safe practices in the use of UPL solutions in the field, enabling business sustainability.
