The 24th edition of Femagri – Agricultural Machinery, Implements and Inputs Fair, promoted by Cooxupé, recorded a record attendance in the first two days of the event, with 27,7 thousand visitors, including cooperative members and family members. The expectation is to exceed 35 thousand people by the end, this Friday (21). The number reinforces the optimism of the coffee sector, driven by good coffee prices and interest in technologies to improve productivity and crop quality.

In addition to the exhibition of more than 12 thousand products, the fair brought an educational attraction to Fazendinha Femagri: a dynamic model that demonstrates, in a practical way, the importance of vegetation in water infiltration and in the preservation of water resources. Created by agricultural engineer José Carlos Perdigão, the model shows the impacts of erosion in deforested areas and the contribution of forests to retaining moisture in the soil.

Femagri will run until March 21st, offering producers special negotiation conditions, lectures and access to innovations in the sector. The event will take place in Guaxupé/MG.
