Credit for the rural sector totals R$73,8 billion in three months of the Safra Plan
The favorable performance of rural credit was reflected in an increase of 28% compared to the same previous period
Two level four technical training vacancies (TT-4A) with FAPESP scholarships are available to work at the company AFH Soluções Tecnológicas (Tarvos), in Campinas, which receives support from the Innovative Research in Small Businesses Program (PIPE) from FAPESP. Registration must be made by October 20, 2020.
The first opportunity is offered by the project “Sensor for real-time detection of fruit flies (anastrepha spp. And Ceratitis capitata) for use in automated traps”. The fellow's activities include, among others, defining desirable product characteristics, through understanding the field environment (farms) and customer needs.
Requirements for the position to have knowledge of high-level and embedded software programming; analog and digital electronics; hardware and software development; and project management. The candidate must also have experience in product testing and validation.
The second opportunity is linked to the project “Smart trap for automated monitoring of boll weevil”. The fellow will work collaboratively with universities and other companies in search of innovative solutions, which involve machine learning and computer vision, to be launched on the market. He will also participate in the definition and improvement of products, projects and processes.
Candidates are required to have knowledge of C and C++ programming languages and microcontroller programming; communication protocols and use of peripherals such as: I2C, SPI, UART, DMA, CAN; in real-time operating system; digital and analog electronics; integration of sensors, such as gyroscope, accelerometer and GPS; and Embedded Linux.
