The family farming pavilion at Expodireto Cotrijal was inaugurated this Monday. In 2025, the venue will bring together 222 exhibitors distributed across 192 stands, standing out for the diversity of products. Last year, the space generated more than R$3 million in sales.
The exhibitors represent 133 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul, with strong female and youth participation in the sector. There are 138 women and 33 young people leading the ventures. This year, 49 agribusinesses are making their debut at the fair, reinforcing the incentive for new businesses.
The inauguration ceremony took place late in the morning and was attended by Governor Eduardo Leite, Secretary of Rural Development, Vilson Covatti, President of Cotrijal, Nei César Mânica, President of Fetag, Carlos Joel da Silva, CEO of Emater, Luciano Schwerz, and other authorities.
During the event, Governor Eduardo Leite highlighted the importance of small-scale production for the agricultural sector. “The fairs enhance the quality work carried out by our large producers. That is why the work carried out by our SDR together with partner entities, which make these spaces possible, is so important,” he stated.
