Faesp releases updated report on prices paid to producers in São Paulo

The survey brings data from Conab and Cepea-Esalq/USP; Among the positive highlights are tomatoes, which continue to rise, showing an increase of 17%

The Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of São Paulo (FAESP) released the report on prices paid to producers, edition no. 21, for the month of May. The report, prepared by FAESP's Economic Department, uses data provided by CONAB and CEPEA-ESALQ/USP.

Among the positive highlights are tomatoes, which continue to rise, showing an increase of 17% in the month and sweet potatoes, which performed expressively, registering an increase of 2019,15% compared to May 2022.

On the other hand, some products faced negative balances. Cattle, grains, lettuce, lemon and rubber were the most affected, recording significant drops in their prices.
