Syngenta announces purchase of Agro Jangada Ltda
Consolidation of the business depends on approval from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE)
The Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of São Paulo (FAESP) will participate in the National Agro Meeting, which will take place next Wednesday (10/8). Caravans of rural unions from different locations in the State of São Paulo, organized by the Federation, will be present at the meeting, which will be held at the Ulisses Guimarães Convention Center, in Brasília. The National Confederation of Agriculture (CNA) will present to the authorities and those present at the event the document “What we expect from the next rulers”.
“In addition to the proposals debated by the sector, the document will address issues such as tax, administrative and political reforms; education, training and employment; health and safety; food security; and environment (clean energy sources and carbon market)”, says the president of FAESP, Fábio de Salles Meirelles.
According to the vice-president of FAESP, Tirso de Salles Meirelles, the document with the sector's demands will be delivered to the President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, invited to the event, and to all presidential candidates in this year's election.
The event will bring together, in person, representatives from across the country from rural unions across the country, state agriculture and livestock federations and sector associations.
