Expodireto Cotrijal consolidates itself as the most internationalized Brazilian agribusiness fair, as it attracts, every year, a greater number of foreign visitors. The fair welcomes importers, traders, journalists, opinion makers, diplomats and foreign authorities residing in Brazil and also coming directly from abroad.

In 2023, the International Area will continue to hold its events in a hybrid format, that is, both in person and remotely, through media and social networks, with online broadcasts of the activities. In 2022, this way it was possible to reach the five continents.

Among those confirmed, the largest delegation should be from Ghana, with several companies coming directly from the African continent. One of the countries with the best infrastructure and development in West Africa, Ghana's economy is based on the construction and export of automobiles and ships, hydrocarbons and industrial minerals, in addition to telecommunications. Furthermore, in this edition, the International Area will have the participation and support of the RS Economic Development Secretariat (SEDEC), under the leadership of Secretary Ernani Polo.

Investment Pitch

What is new in the International Area is the holding of investment and business pitches, in which municipalities and companies, from Rio Grande do Sul and Brazil, will present their products, services and projects, seeking to create partnerships, joint ventures, technological agreements and trade, with foreign businesspeople and investors.

“It is a revamped format of the old business rounds, with much more dynamicity and reach, as pitches are carried out both in person and virtually, we will have a much greater range of contacts”, explains the coordinator of the International Area, Matheus Prato Da Silva .

The pitches, lectures and panels will be held inside the International Pavilion, which will be the meeting point for foreign delegations and also for welcoming rural producers, exhibitors, authorities and visitors in general.

Visits to exhibitors' stands by foreign delegations continue to be promoted and organized, in order to provide opportunities and facilitate doing business.
