The company Nufarm is holding a series of events this month to launch the Impulse brand product on the sugarcane agricultural frontier. The meetings will take place in the states of Goiás, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco and São Paulo. For Nufarm's product manager, Murilo Borges, there is enormous expectation regarding the arrival of Impulse, especially due to the fact that the product expands the offer of Etefom-based technologies to sugarcane fields.
According to the executive, before reaching the market Impulse went through different stages of research and development, with the participation of renowned researchers and consultants such as Weber Valério (Agro Analítico) and Michel Fernandes (MS Fernandes), who were in charge of several trials in the field. The first product launch event was held in the city of Dourados (MS), with the participation of farmers and sugarcane suppliers, researchers, distributors and commercial representation companies.
Also according to Murilo Borges, the new Impulse constitutes a high-tech tool, which will benefit the management of crops in the sugarcane sector. The product, he reinforces, has the main characteristics of inhibiting flowering, accelerating maturation and stimulating sprouting and tillering of sugar cane.
The Nufarm agronomist also highlights that in the various field-level studies conducted by the company, the new Impulse transferred representative results to the management and productivity of sugarcane fields.
“Its application in accordance with agronomic recommendations reduces the ‘shock’ or isoporization of sugar cane. This benefit increases productivity, favors sugarcane management during the harvesting phase and results in gains in the mills' milling process. The arrival of the product on the market, therefore, promotes quantitative and qualitative gains for the sector”, highlights Borges.
The general director of Nufarm in Brazil, agronomist Fernando Manzeppi, highlights that the launch of Impulse is part of the company's broad strategy with the aim of expanding the brand's technology offering for the sugar-energy sector. “This is a strategic market for the company, in which significant investments are being made with a view to accelerating the development of new products and solutions”, concludes the executive.
