Wheat harvest opened in Rio Grande do Sul
To date, the machines have already harvested more than 5%, approximately 60 thousand hectares of a production estimated by Emater/RS-Ascar at 3,59 million tons
The Agricultural Research Company of Minas Gerais (EPAMIG) will hold another edition of Inova Norte next Thursday, October 21st, at 18pm. The online event will have the theme "Nutritional Assessment of Banana Plants". The transmission will be via Official channel of the Company on YouTube.
Banana is the fruit in natura most consumed in the world, with production exceeding 150 million tons. Brazil is the fifth largest producer in the world, with 7,3 million tons. Minas Gerais accounts for almost 12% of the national volume, with more than half of production concentrated in the North of the State, especially in the municipalities of Jaíba, Janaúba, Nova União and Nova Porteirinha.
The chat will be led by EPAMIG researcher Maria Geralda Vilela Rodrigues. The guests will be professor from the Federal Institute of Baiano Sérgio Luiz Rodrigues Donato and agricultural engineers Vagner Alves Rodrigues Filho (Grupo Sítio Barreiras) and Francisco Ermelindo Rodrigues (FrutFic).
