We need this by yesterday because electricity is making our activities unfeasible,” he warned.

He advised municipalities that are experiencing droughts to draw up emergency decrees to facilitate the receipt of federal aid. Loyola added that the federal government's most immediate actions will be measures to speed up inspections and release areas for planting other crops. According to the director, claims that depend on resources from the Union budget will be forwarded to the Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes. “Budget-demanding issues can take 15 to 45 days. I believe that between the end of January and February the ministry will already have some actions in relation to the credit issue”, he stated.
