External and internal prices of Arabica coffee rose sharply in September
Fear of lower supply raises coffee prices in September
The year 2021 has been one of the most challenging for Brazilian coffee farming in recent years. First, it was the drought that affected production in a year with a low biannual rate. Then, strong frosts brought irreversible losses and it will take years for coffee growers to recover in regions like the south of Minas Gerais.
To support producers in this difficult time and provide quality information, the Conecta Group promotes Encoffee 26 on the 27th and 2021th of October, the traditional Coffee Growers Management Meeting that, every year, brings a management program and also about credit , market and commercialization.
For the 2021 edition, topics such as future markets and exports, better soil performance, coffee quality, certificate and investment perspectives will be highlighted. During the two-day event, speakers will also address production costs, organic coffees, specialty coffees, integrated pest management and disease control.
Large coffee cooperatives such as Cooxupé, Expocaccer, Coopeavi, Minasul, Coopercam, Cafesul and Cocapec will be present, in addition to renowned professionals in the area, such as Albert Scalla, CEO of Stonex, Marcos Matos, CEO of Cecafé, Marcos Reis, CEO of Reis Advogados , Julian Carvalho, SEAPA special technical advisor and Luciana Martins, director of MPrado Cooperativas.
Encoffee will be held in a hybrid format – in person and digitally. In person, the event will take place at Palácio de Cristal, in Uberlândia – MG. Digital registration is now open. More information available on the website gpoconecta.com.br/.
“The year 2021 is very challenging for coffee farming. Encoffee will be a complete event, which will help rural producers in making decisions regarding the next harvest and marketing”, says Danilo Bomfim, Marketing Director at Grupo Conecta.
