Continuing the series "In practice", The time has come to teach how to produce perfect bunches of seedless grapes, especially the cultivars ‘BRS Vitória’, ‘BRS Isis’ and ‘BRS Melodia’, all developed by the Uvas do Brasil Genetic Improvement Program. Presented by technologist Roque Zílio, who has worked for over 30 years at the Embrapa Grape and Wine Experimental Fields, the video presents the main guidelines that range from the application of gibberellic acid and trimming the bunches to thinning the berries. “If producers follow these recommendations, they will certainly be ensuring well-formed and beautiful bunches, preventing the appearance of some diseases, such as rot common at harvest time, resulting from berries bursting due to lack of thinning”, adds Zílio.

The series “In practice” is created by Embrapa Uva e Vinho and is being produced based on the main demands presented to the Citizen Assistance Service related to viticulture.
