The 21st edition of Expoagro Afubra will take place next week, between March 21st and 24th, 2023, and will once again feature the presentation of Embrapa technologies aimed at family farming. The diverse space with grains, cereals, vegetables, forage crops, temperate fruits, dairy production and sugar cane has a new layout in the demonstration areas. The fair takes place on 35 well-distributed hectares, within Parque da Afubra, in Rio Pardo/RS. Access is free, with an estimated audience of 180 thousand visitors waiting.

The attraction of agricultural research is the cultivation of beans in this edition. The different available varieties will be presented in the fields, with precocious and super-early characteristics with high productive potential, varying between black, carioca and special grains, well adapted not only to the South region but also to other regions of the country. Another service from Embrapa will be the producer demand for colorful cassava and sweet potato cultivars.

The BRS Intrépido bean cultivar gains new prominence due to its unique characteristics, including its characteristic flavor and shorter cooking time, among other cultivation requirements. To find out more about the Company's material at the fair, curious people and traditional visitors have access to the Afubra magazine, where you can find Embrapa's latest news.
