Embrapa and IDR-Paraná promote training in good soy practices

At the opening of the event, the results achieved in joint projects in Integrated Management of Pests, Diseases and Biological Nitrogen Fixation in Soybeans, carried out in the 2021/2022 harvest, in Paraná were presented.

Embrapa Soja and the Rural Development Institute (IDR-Paraná), with the support of the National Rural Learning Service (Senar Paraná), will promote on the 27th and 28th of September, starting at 8am, in the Embrapa Soja auditorium, the training in Good Practices in Soy Production for around 100 IDR technicians, participants in the Sustainable Grains program. The opening of the event was attended by the director of rural extension Diniz Dias Doliveira, representing the state secretary of agriculture, Norberto Ortigara and the head of Administration Adilson de Oliveira Jr.. At the opening of the event, the results achieved in joint projects were presented in Integrated Management of Pests, Diseases and Biological Nitrogen Fixation in Soybeans, carried out in the 2021/2022 harvest, in Paraná.

“The event is a moment of integration, evaluation of results and planning of joint activities”, explains agronomist Edivan Possamai, from IDR-PR. “For Embrapa, this partnership has been very constructive and mutual learning. The proximity of research and extension is essential to advance the quality of technical assistance to producers, reducing bottlenecks in the adoption of technologies and in research feedback”, explains André Prando, researcher at Embrapa Soja.
