After selling 20 Ipanema 203 aircraft during Agrishow Ribeirão Preto, Embraer's agricultural aviation team is now taking off for the Bahia Farm Show, the largest agricultural technology and business fair in the north and northeast of Brazil. The exhibition takes place between the 11th and 15th of June, in the city of Luís Eduardo Magalhães.

According to the organizers of the event, the forecast is that more than 100 thousand people will visit the 18th edition of the fair, which will be attended by the largest machinery, implements, inputs, aviation and services companies in Brazil.

“At Agrishow we surpassed the sales volume of previous years and the expectation is that the high demand will be no different at the Bahia Farm Show. This is a fair that offers an excellent environment to do new business and expand the presence of Ipanema 203 in the region”, said Sany Onofre, leader of Agricultural Aviation at Embraer.

The strong commercial activity in recent years highlights the very high confidence that customers and operators have in Ipanema 203, which combines high technology and tradition, remaining a reference in terms of high productivity and low operating costs. Embraer holds around 60% of the Brazilian agricultural aviation market.

Powered by ethanol, the Ipanema 203 has also carried out a series of tests to approve the first methodology for aerial application of biological pesticides in Brazil. The pioneering project to promote sustainability in national agribusiness is led by Koppert, one of the global leaders in the development and production of bioinputs for agriculture.
