CESB celebrates 15 years
The National Soybean Productivity Challenge and CESB's National Soybean Productivity Forum have become references in terms of stimulating the highest soybean yields
Emater released the updated estimate for the 2022/2023 Summer Grain Harvest in Rio Grande do Sul during Expodireto Cotrijal. The forecast is for production of 24,73 million tons, according to a presentation by the entity's technical director, Claudinei Baldissera.
Soybean production is estimated at 14,16 million tons, in a planted area of 6,51 million hectares (average productivity of 36,25 sc/ha; 2.175 kg/ha).
Rice occupies an area of 889,54 thousand hectares. It should have a production of 6,88 million tons. Corn, in turn, had a planted area of 810,38 thousand and production of 3,59 million tons (average productivity of 74 sc/ha; 4.440 kg/ha).
First-crop beans reached a production close to 49,55 thousand tons (area of 31,4 thousand hectares). In the second harvest, cultivation is estimated at 20,43 thousand hectares and production of 28,12 thousand tons.
