Emater Rio Grande do Sul (RS) will launch next Thursday (7/3), at 14pm, at Casa da Família Rural, in the Institution's space at Expodireto Cotrijal 2024, of the ABC+ Project, aligned with state actions to low-carbon agriculture, which will disseminate technologies that mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

“The project’s objectives are to reduce GHG emissions from agricultural activities and at the same time increase farmers’ productivity and income. To this end, we will seek to train Emater's staff to implement GHG mitigating technologies in family production units by raising awareness among producers, holding events and establishing technical reference units, in addition to providing technical assistance for the implementation of systems, practices, sustainable products and production processes”, explains Emater/RS extensionist, Elder Dal Prá, project coordinator.
