Emater Goiás has extended the deadline for applications for the simplified selection process. Those interested in participating have until October 1st to apply. 25 professionals will be selected for temporary positions, 19 of which are for agricultural technicians and 6 for higher education positions. Applications must be made exclusively online, on the Selection Portal (selecao.go.gov.br).

The higher education positions are for: full-time agricultural engineer, full-time food engineer, full-time forestry engineer, full-time fisheries engineer, junior veterinarian and zootechnician. The professionals will work in several municipalities in the state. The monthly salary ranges from R$2.615,50 to R$9, plus a food voucher worth R$500 for the positions of agricultural technician, junior veterinarian and zootechnician.

Emater president Rafael Gouveia says that hiring these professionals represents a reinforcement for the institution’s staff. “These new professionals will help implement public policies and our technical assistance and rural extension work with family farmers in the more than 200 municipalities where we have local offices. In addition, they will help us expand our services and reach more rural producers in the state,” he highlights.

The launch of the selection process was announced by Revista Cultivar on September 09th. Click to read: Government of Goiás opens selection process with 25 temporary vacancies for Emater
