The UPL addresses the efficient fight against weeds that affect cotton plants at the 13th Brazilian Cotton Congress (CBA). The event, promoted by the Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers (Abrapa), takes place between the 16th and 18th of August, in Salvador (BA).

"Our country is a powerhouse in the cotton sector, producing more than 7 million tons per year, which generates more than R$19 billion in income. To further enhance this very important crop, UPL invests in effective and innovative solutions, which we presented at Congress", says Rafael Borba, cotton marketing manager at UPL Brasil.

The company's main highlight is Lifeline Sync, a herbicide with a composition that has systemic and conditional selective action. Developed and proven based on science, it is recommended for pre-planting, for sprays directed between cotton rows and for the initial post-emergence of weeds.

"Lifeline Sync presents excellent results in the management of the main weeds that affect cotton productivity, such as bittergrass, crow's foot grass, pigweed, milkweed, papuã and trapoeraba. With this product, UPL reinforces its commitment as a partner of farmer for the benefit of plant defense", concludes Borba.
