DuPont Pioneer releases award-winning photos from its 2nd Photography Contest

The 2nd Photography Contest, launched by DuPont Pioneer on May 27th, already has its winners. With the theme “Diseases and Pests in Corn and Soybeans”, the competition held by the company mobilized photographers from all regions of Brazil. During the 30 days of the competition, hundreds of photographs were received about the various diseases and pests that attack corn and soybean crops, from planting to harvest, the action of natural enemies and the damage caused to crops. The competition was a success and the photos received are incredible, demonstrating pests and diseases from angles and aspects that are difficult to observe on a daily basis.

Criteria such as the artistic composition of the photograph in relation to the competition theme, quality and sharpness of the photo were evaluated by a Judging Committee who had the difficult task of selecting the 12 winning photographs. The top 3 placed, Marina Harumi Sukessada Fujivara, José Ferreira dos Santos and Gilson Calistro da Silva will receive as a prize a Semi-Professional Photo Camera, a Tablet and a DuPont Pioneer Wristwatch, respectively. The rest will receive special prizes from DuPont Pioneer. In addition to the prizes for the first place winners, it is worth remembering that the other photos received may be used in DuPont Pioneer promotional and technical materials. The company believes that this is a way of recognizing the photographers present in the day-to-day activities of Brazilian agricultural activity and also of thanking everyone for their participation. The 2nd DuPont Pioneer Photography Contest ended on June 27th.
