DuPont Pioneer and DuPont Crop Protection showcase technologies at Tecnoshow Comigo

The companies DuPont Protection de Crops and DuPont Pioneer participate from April 11 to 15 in the 15th edition of Tecnoshow Comigo, an agricultural technology fair in the Brazilian Center-West. Organized by the COMIGO cooperative, the event will take place in the city of Rio Verde (GO) and will feature an extensive showcase of technologies for rural people, whether small, medium or large producers.

DuPont Crop Protection announces at Tecnoshow Comigo that it has obtained official registration from regulatory bodies for the application of the insecticide Benevia® to control whiteflies. The registry was also authorized for the management of different pests in 30 Brazilian agricultural crops. According to the company, Benevia® was developed based on a state-of-the-art chemical molecule, whose active ingredient is Cyantraniliprole.

“It is a product of toxicological class IV, green range, therefore little toxic, with high insecticidal potency and also selective to the natural enemies of the pests it controls", adds DuPont marketing manager, Ademilson Villela.

During the event, DuPont Crop Protection will also highlight the Avatar® insecticide and the Dermacor® seed treatment, in addition to the Soy Program, which is based on the technologies Aproach® Prima (fungicide), Dermacor® (seed treatment), Avatar®, Benevia ®, Prémio® and Lannate® (insecticides); Accent ® and Classic® (herbicides).

At the DuPont Pioneer stand, producers will learn about the brand's launches, all with high productive potential and aimed at grain production in the Cerrado, including off-season corn hybrids 30F53VYHR, 30S31VYH, P3456VYH, P3844H, P3250, P3380H, P3646YHR, P428YHR and P3630H. The company will also highlight the soybean cultivars 97R21, 97R73 e 98Y30.

According to DuPont Pioneer Account Manager in the Goiás region, Leandro Melo, another new feature at the fair will be the launch of Pioneer brand corn hybrids^® with technology Leptra® protection against insects. Leptra® is the association of Agrisure Viptera technologies^®, YieldGard^®, Herculex^®I, and Liberty Link^®. ^"Due to its broad spectrum, the technology Leptra^® It is an excellent alternative for producers looking for more security and profitability in their crops, as it helps control the main caterpillars that attack corn crops", highlights Melo.

“Our team of commercial representatives will also promote a tour of the stand, to discuss Good Management Practices, including Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Insect Resistance Management (MRI), as well as Stunting in corn crops ", continues the executive.

Also according to Melo, the company will present to rural producers the benefits of Industrial Seed Treatment technology for soybeans and corn, based on the insecticide DuPont Dermacor®. “This agrochemical, together with the Poncho® product, helps control the main pests of corn crops", concludes Melo.
