DuPont and I.RIEDI recognize students from the municipal network of Toledo (PR)

The municipal schools São Francisco, Toledo and Washington Luiz, in Novo Sobradinho, District of Toledo, western region of the State of Paraná, participated in the last few days of events of the DuPont Escola Program, carried out by the regional company I.RIEDI, a distributor of agricultural inputs , in partnership with the company DuPont Crop Protection. On the occasion, the companies delivered bicycles to the authors of the best texts and drawings produced by students based on the theme My Hero, the Farmer.

In the city of Toledo, the winning students were Samira Gomes Lizzi, Luiz Gabriel Paes de Lima, Vitor Ramos Biron, Sthefany Karolayne Barbosa, Victor José de Almeida Régis, Julia Ferreira Pego and Katielly Samara de Souza.

In Novo Sobradinho, District of Toledo, the recipients were Cristopher Ricardo da Silva Pereira, Mariana Damke da Silva, Eloise Manueli Puhl, Victor Claudio Morgenstern, Miguel Ricardo Rikowisky and Paloma da Silva.

A socio-environmental platform program Safety and Health in the Field, sponsored by DuPont and with national coverage, DuPont Escola is aimed at students and educators in rural schools. The initiative encourages the appreciation of agriculture and agro-environmental sustainability. The agenda of events covers lectures, debates, exhibitions, thematic video screenings, educational activities and games and competitions from the project's official magazine, called Meu Hérói, o Agricultor.

In 2017, the DuPont School Program's central themes are the rational use of water and energy and clean and sustainable energy matrices, according to DuPont's general manager of Product Safety and Environment, Felipe Ramos.

The socio-environmental platform Safety and Health in the Field It is also made up of four other projects: DuPont Women in the Field, DuPont University, DuPont Correct and Safe Use and DuPont Nature. According to DuPont, this set of programs has already benefited more than 1,3 million people in recent years, in the main agricultural regions of Brazil.

DuPont's commercial representative, Vanderlei Mayer, coordinated the work carried out for more than 300 children, at the two events in western Paraná.
