The movement of consecutive daily drops in corn prices, which had been observed since mid-May, was interrupted in recent days, according to data from Cepea.

This scenario is linked to the rise in prices at Brazilian ports last week, which, in turn, were driven by stronger demand and external and dollar appreciation.

The ESALQ/BM&FBovespa Indicator (Campinas – SP) rose 0,41% from June 3 to 10, closing at R$ 85,42/60 kg bag on Friday, 10. Buyers stayed away for most of the week , limiting price increases.
