Campaign warns of greening epidemic in the Tabapuã region (SP)
United against greening. This is the theme of a campaign promoted by the City of Tabapuã (SP), in partnership with the Junqueira Rodas Group and the Citrus Defense Fund (Fundecitrus)
DowDuPont's Agricultural Division will debut at this year's edition of the Summer Technological Show, which will be held between today (21) and tomorrow (22), in the city of Ponta Grossa, in Paraná, to showcase the complete portfolio in both pest control, diseases and weeds, as well as seeds and biotechnology.
“We are strongly committed to developing superior quality solutions that can boost agriculture and increase the income of rural producers. We want to show this at all the fairs we will participate in this year”, says Roberto Hun, president of the Agricultural Division in Brazil.
At the fair, producers will have access to Agricultural Division solutions through institutional and brand spaces. It will be possible to discover a circuit with solutions for weed management, pest management, disease management, and Enlist. Visitors will be able to visit all the spaces, accompanied by experts, who will be able to discuss the problems experienced by farmers in the field and present the best solutions.
Weed management solutions
Max Verdict: is a new solution for controlling Amargoso and other grasses, with a formulation 4.5 times more concentrated than Verdict R. The product reaches the root of the weed plant and, thus, prevents other invaders from growing from that root. Verdict Max also has a greater spectrum of control because, in addition to Amargoso and Milho Voluntário, it combats Ryegrass and Crow's Foot.
Spider: Selective, pre-emergent herbicide is recommended for the control of weeds such as Horseweed, Bittergrass, Viola String and other plants that are difficult to control. It has prolonged residual, high selectivity and reduces glyphosate application.
Pact: selective post-emergence herbicide for soybeans, effective against Horseweed and other difficult-to-control weeds, including those resistant to glyphosate. It still has high selectivity.
Pest management solutions
Dermacor: seed treatment in soybean and cotton crops that offers protection against the main soil pests, Larvae and Coró, and initial foliar pests, such as Armyworm and Helicoverpa. The action of Dermacor, associated with Bt technology, expands the pest control spectrum resulting in protection of the stand and the plant, at the beginning of the crop cycle, maximizing the crop's productive potential.
Exalted: is a non-systemic insecticide recommended for pest control in cotton, corn and soybean crops. With a broad spectrum action mechanism and extremely high shock effect, it acts quickly on the caterpillar complex, resulting in direct savings for the producer.
Intrepid: Fast-acting physiological insecticide, with an exclusive mode of action, recommended for corn, soybean, cotton, tomato and wheat crops. Through ingestion or contact, it accelerates ecdysis (shedding) quickly eliminating caterpillars and damage to leaves and fruits.
Disease Management Solutions
Vessarya: most efficient fungicide for controlling soybean diseases, such as Rust, Powdery Mildew and DFCs (end-of-cycle diseases) such as Target Spot and Cercospora. Vessarya has a formulation that eliminates the use of oil in applications. Other important attributes of the product are: high systemicity and translaminar effect, ensuring better absorption and lower risk of washing by rain.
Approach Prima: is a systemic fungicide indicated for various crops such as soybeans, corn, coffee and sugar cane, which promotes quick and long-lasting results against various types of diseases, such as Asian rust, blast, cercosporiosis and powdery mildew. With rapid penetration, the product guarantees less exposure to rainwater, providing more effective results.
Seed Brands and Technologies
Brevant– This space will be dedicated to the newly created brand premium seed distribution system from the DowDuPont Agricultural Division, which, starting this month, will be available for several crops, including: soybeans, corn and sorghum. Brevant seed solutions will initially be sold in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Paraguay, Canada, and some European countries. In Brazil, the Brevant brand will serve current customers in the Agricultural Division by replacing the Coodetec, BioGene and Dow Sementes brands in the coming months, throughout the integration between Dow and DuPont.
Brevant will highlight the super early hybrids for grain production BG7318YH and 2A401PW and the hybrids 2B688PW and CD384PW for silage production. On this occasion, visitors will also be able to learn about the new PowerCore Ultra technology in a demonstration field.
Pioneer - Farmers will have access to Pioneer's best solutions - in the corn portfolio there will be exposure of hybrids with Leptra insect protection technology and the benefits of Industrial Seed Treatment with Dermacor + Poncho insecticides. Another highlight of Pioneer are the launches of corn hybrids, such as P2501 and P2866H – excellent options for increasing productivity.
In the soybean portfolio, the Pioneer stand will have a demonstration field with the new cultivar 96Y90, with an early cycle and productive stability, with high productive potential and tolerant to lodging. Also highlighted will be the two new Intacta soybeans 95R95IPRO and 95R90IPRO, super early and stable cultivars, favoring the planting of safrinha in the region. With Industrial Seed Treatment (TSI) with Dermacor, the soybean farmer has an even more complete package in insect control. In addition to learning about the products, visitors will receive guidance on Good Agronomic Practices for the maintenance and durability of Bt technologies.
list: The producer will have the opportunity to find out more about the new technology in the circuit. Enlist is the evolution in weed control that allows the use of 2,4-D on soybean and corn crops to maximize the crops' productive potential. Enlist seeds will always be associated with high productivity genetics and may come with biotechnology (Bt) for caterpillar control. Visitors will have access to experts and researchers and will be able to answer farmers' questions about the benefits of technology, such as: advances in weed control; new herbicides (which feature reduced drift, low odor and ultra-low volatility); high productivity; new Bt technology and practicality.
