Since the framework convention on reducing tobacco planting and consumption was implemented, the Vale do Rio Pardo region, the main producer of this crop in Rio Grande do Sul, has invested in diversifying production on properties, most of which are small. And to maintain the level of income that tobacco provides, they invested in good equipment, products that provide the appropriate solutions so that activities can be carried out efficiently. This is the case with the acquisition of tractors which, as a general-purpose tool, needs to offer on-board technological solutions that facilitate work in the field.

In the understanding of LS Tractor, a South Korean tractor manufacturer, in Brazil for 10 years, providing Brazilian producers with the opportunity to have access to new technologies already incorporated in the tractor project means thinking about the demands that this field professional has. “It is with this vision that we are highlighting at ExpoAgro Afubra 2023, which takes place between the 21st and 24th of March this year, in Rincão Del Rey, RS, our models from 40 to 100 HP (G40, R50, R65 and U60, Plus 80 , 90 and 100), which perform excellently in rice farming, poultry farming, fruit farming, viticulture and family farming”, highlights the company's marketing and sales manager, Astor Kilpp.

Kilpp highlights that all LS Tractor products will be on the stand, but as a very significant percentage of the public that visits the fair is made up of small producers, who carry out more than one activity on the property, “we want to show that we have the ideal tools for each One of them is that this farmer will be very well served with the technological solutions we manufacture”, highlights the manager.

G40

For micro and small properties, mechanization is also a necessity. Purchasing a tractor, for example, makes it easier to carry out a series of activities, especially the heavier ones. “The gain in reducing time to carry out each task certainly increases and improves the property’s financial results at the end of the month”, points out Kilpp. According to him, LS Tractor has the right technology for this market, in this case the G40 model.

The manager says that the difference is in the 12x12 transmission with synchro shuttle reversal, in the 3-cylinder LS engine (40CV), its low fuel consumption, in the independent power take-off with hydraulic drive, 4x4 auxiliary front-wheel drive, with steering system Pivoted, which provides a smaller turning radius and makes maneuvering easier. The ergonomic design and serviceability offer comfort to the operator. “It is a multipurpose tractor that represents financial gains and quality of life within a small property,” concludes Kilpp.
