Launch of seal seeks to encourage the adoption of more sustainable practices by Brazilian farmers
GravoMark – a Brazilian distributor in the industrial coding sector – has just signed a partnership to supply products and technical assistance in Minas Gerais. The agreement was signed with Brassell, a traditional company in the sector, based in Belo Horizonte, and which has been operating in the Minas Gerais market for over 25 years.
Headquartered in São Paulo, GravoMark distributes laser and mechanical engraving machines from the Gravograph line; laser marking equipment for traceability and identification of industrial parts in various materials (metals, plastics and other organic materials) from Technifor; and Type3 software. They are all Gravotech products, whose headquarters are in France and are a reference in the world market.
According to the general manager of GravoMark, Juliano Moura, the partnership with Brassell is part of a project to expand GravoMark and, consequently, the distribution of Gravotech products. The objective, he explains, is to close an agreement with regional companies to reach markets across states.
Moura also highlights the importance of Brassel in the Minas Gerais market, and how this opens doors for Gravomark's operations in that state. "Brassel will be the name of Gravomark in Minas Gerais, representing our product line and customer service", he states.
The executive explains how the partnership will work. "We, at Gravomark, will work with direct sales, and Brassel will provide service and will also provide spare parts and inputs directly to the customer. This will facilitate logistics, providing closer service to the customer, thus guaranteeing brand reliability".
GravoMark was formed last May, when it acquired the Brazilian branch of Gravotech. On that occasion, the new company announced investments of around R$4 million in its operations, to enable a greater presence in the Brazilian market.
Moura highlights that, in addition to distributing Gravotech machines and equipment, it is also part of GravoMark's duties to provide technical assistance to customers. “Gravotech’s products and solutions have been a reference in Brazil for over 20 years”, says the executive.
According to the operations manager for Latin America at the French company, Ingrid Santos, the option of delegating distribution and assistance in the Brazilian market to GravoMark is confirmed as strategic. “Through GravoMark and its partners, as is now Brassell, we are able to serve customers of the Gravotech lines with more specialized teams”, she assesses.
In turn, Brassell has been operating in the industrial coding field for over 25 years and provides maintenance services, sales of consumables, parts and equipment. It has established itself as a reference in the industrial coding market in Minas.
