The Agribusiness Development Coordination (Codeagro), an entity of the Department of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo, has a new coordinator.
Diogenes Kassaoka is an agronomist, graduated from Faculdade Cantareira, and with an MBA in Agribusiness from the University of São Paulo - Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" (Esalq-USP).
“My challenges at the helm of Codeagro are understanding the impact of digital transformation on consumption and creating modernization mechanisms in the Coordination in favor of more efficient food supply channels, as well as the development of sustainable and safe product networks”, he highlights.
The engineer has been at the Department of Agriculture for 12 years, where he held various positions such as Technical Coordinator of Agreements, general director of the Institute of Cooperatives and Associativism; coordinator of Agribusiness Developments and director of the Office's Technical Advisory Department.
