Show Rural Digital Coopavel opens registration for the hackathon

Registration is now open for the hackathon, the technology marathon that is one of the sensations of Show Rural Digital, an event that is part of the official program of Show Rural Coopavel which will hold its 35th edition from February 6th to 10th, 2023 in Cascavel, in Western Paraná.

Teams with a maximum of five people can participate. Multidisciplinary, each of them must have in its composition a Coopavel member, a business professional, a designer and a programmer. The organizers' goal is to register 75 participants.

“This is one of the biggest challenges of its kind in Brazil. The teams will have more than 40 hours to solve problems that challenge agribusiness, one of the most technological and thriving sectors of the national economy”, informs the president of Coopavel, Dilvo Grolli. The announcement of the challenges for this edition will take place on the afternoon of February 8th.

The challenges that the teams will have to solve meet the demands of the most different sectors linked to the agribusiness chain. In addition to Sebrae facilitators, this year one of the new features is the participation of technical monitors appointed by companies exhibiting at the Rural Digital Show, including Google and Aruba Network.

“The objective of this marathon is to create innovative products, which provide solutions capable of making agriculture even more efficient and profitable”, says coordinator José Rodrigues da Costa Neto (photo at the beginning of the article).

Work will begin on the morning of February 9th. Participants will be isolated throughout the competition. They will have their meals and rest in the race environment itself, in the new events center that will house the Digital Rural Show, informs coordinator José Rodrigues da Costa Neto. The panel and presentation of the final pitches will take place from 16pm on the 10th. The winners will be announced at 17:30pm, marking the official closing of the 35th Coopavel Rural Show.
