With a 30% increase in the number of exhibitors, the 3rd Digital Agro, a fair organized by Frísia Cooperativa Agroindustrial to present and discuss innovations in the field, should bring together around eight thousand people at the Frísia Exhibition Park, in Carambeí, in Campos Gerais do Paraná . Digital Agro is one of the main digital technology fairs for agribusiness in Brazil, standing out for its proximity to food producing regions.
This year's fair will feature approximately 40 exhibiting companies and presentations that will discuss the themes of digital transformation, sustainability, the internet of things and smart farming (application of information and communication technology in agriculture).
Among the public are rural producers – almost 70% of visitors –, service providers in the production and commercial areas, startups, companies linked to the agro sector and government and financial institutions.
Agenda
The Innovation Forum of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa) will be held on the 11th in the morning; In the afternoon, it will be the Commercial Forum's turn, which will bring renowned speakers to Digital Agro. On the 11th at night will be the official opening of the event. On the 12th and 13th, the public will be able to see what's new from the exhibitors and other talks with names that are references in management and technology.
Another attraction of Digital Agro 2019 is the central area of the Exhibition Park, which will have the presence of several national startups that will present solutions to the challenges of contemporary agribusiness.
