DAF Caminhões Brasil announces the appointment of its new Product Development Director, Alan Messias, as of May 1st. The executive replaces Jarno Broeze, who will occupy the position of Global Engineering Program Manager at DAF N.V., executing business for the Product Development Department of DAF Brazil also from May 1st.
“It is a great pleasure to take on the role of Director of Product Development. I have been with the company for almost 10 years and have known the conception of DAF products since the beginning of national production. I feel very honored, excited and prepared to take on this new challenge. We are committed to increasingly improving our portfolio to meet the demands of the Brazilian market and our customers”, says Alan Messias, Director of Product Development.
Alan Messias began working at DAF Caminhões Brasil in 2013, in the Product Development area, as Field Services Coordinator. He was promoted to Field Services Manager, Project Manager and, recently, Engineering Manager, working in the Product Development area at DAF N.V., in the Netherlands, in recent months.
Alan has a degree from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (MG) in Control and Automation Engineering, a postgraduate degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Automotive Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Strategic Business Management.
