Alta Defensivos announces changes in executive structure
Daniel D'Andrea takes over as CEO, while Paulo Alves will focus on leading the Agrihold group
Since last year's Tecnoshow Comigo, Crucianelli has been exhibiting its machines at major Brazilian trade fairs. This move is part of the company's growth and expansion strategy, the result of a joint venture between the Argentine manufacturer and the Piccin Group.
At this stage, the focus is on the initial model manufactured entirely in Brazil, the Plantor line of seeders. These machines offer high performance in the field, adapting especially to the demands of large properties. "We offer models with 12, 15 and 18 meter chassis, all self-transportable, eliminating the need for disassembly for transportation between different fields. This logistical differential results in significant time savings and reduced operating costs," explains Maximiliano Cassalha, engineer and commercial head of Crucianelli in Brazil.
The equipment also allows for single or double fertilization options, with direct application in the row or next to the seeds, from 42 cm spacing, depending on the version chosen. "We know that producers with large areas often have more than one farm, often far apart. Our model was developed precisely for this scenario, offering solutions that facilitate operations and increase productivity," says Cassalha.
Crucianelli's Plantor 3.9 model will be present at the largest agricultural technology fair in the North and Northeast, the Bahia Farm Show, which will take place between June 9 and 14, in Luís Eduardo Magalhães (BA). In a scenario of expansion, Bahia is consolidating itself as an agricultural powerhouse. In the 2024/25 harvest, the state reached a record soybean productivity, with an average of 68 bags per hectare, totaling 8,71 million tons harvested. The Western region stands out as a new Brazilian agricultural frontier, marked by large-scale cultivation, high technological development and growing demand for efficient solutions for operational logistics.
The Plantor 3.9 planter combines mobility and high precision in seed distribution, thanks to its pneumatic doser. It also offers greater supply autonomy, with three central polyethylene boxes, each with a capacity of 2.400 liters. "These features guarantee financial savings and better use of labor and operating time", emphasizes Cassalha.
