CropLife Brasil (CLB) has just announced its new brand positioning. In addition to rebranding, which will transform the visual communication used in its advertising pieces, website and proprietary social networks, the entity adopted the slogan #ConectadosPeloCampo and #JuntosPeloFuturo, which reinforces its commitment as a generator of solutions to the complex challenges involving food systems and agriculture in around the world and reflects the importance of a joint effort to build a more sustainable future.

Founded in 2019, CLB brings together experts, institutions and companies that work in the research and development of technologies in four essential areas for agricultural production: germplasm (seedlings and seeds), biotechnology, chemical pesticides and biological products. The organization is the result of the consolidation of several other associations that operated in Brazilian agribusiness at the time, but represented each of these sectors individually.

“When it emerged, CLB’s goal was to be an agent for generating and sharing information about Brazilian agriculture and the technologies used to produce food. In 2022, we feel the need to review this positioning. The experiences accumulated during the pandemic period, the worsening of climate change and the armed conflict between large players of the global production chain were factors that made us reflect on our responsibility for the development of the entire agribusiness ecosystem”, explains Christian Lohbauer, executive president of CropLife Brasil.

“Our planet is facing one of its most critical periods. In this scenario, we are much stronger when we support each other. The current moment of CropLife Brasil meets this objective and perfectly represents our purpose”, reinforces Giulia Di Tommaso, president of CropLife International.
