With the aim of demonstrating the results obtained from good cultivation practices, Massey Ferguson, in partnership with the Mosena Concessionaire, carries out the Crop Tour. A series of four events will present the benefits that the constant use of technologies offered by the brand and embedded in the machines brings to the farmer, showing, in practice, how it is possible to increase productivity in farming, farmer profitability and sustainability of the agricultural system .

Crop Tour It is presented in the planting, pesticide application, harvesting and cycle closure phases. The gains resulting from the techniques used throughout the process will be demonstrated to farmers at meetings. “This methodology used in practice will bring to rural producers all the differences and benefits they have when using Massey Ferguson technologies. The events demonstrate, in the field, the impact that technologies have on building productivity, allowing producers to identify opportunities for improvement in the management of the production process and incorporate them into their property”, explains Vinícius Cunha, Farm Solutions coordinator at AGCO América do South. AGCO is the company that owns the Massey Ferguson brand.

In a soybean area, located in São Gabriel do Oeste, in Mato Grosso do Sul, the Massey Ferguson team will carry out all operations and extract results obtained from the machine and also agronomic results. The first phase of Crop Tour takes place in November, at Grimm Farm, when rural producers will have the opportunity to check out the planter’s differences Momentum 24 lines. In December, it will be possible to evaluate the uniformity and quality of the application of agricultural pesticides, provided by the series sprayer MF 9330. The last practical step of the Crop Tour will be the harvest event, in March, when the producer will be able to see all the advantages of the harvester up close MF 9795. Next, the big closing event will take place, when the analysis of results and data extracted throughout the process will be presented.

"The Crop Tour is consolidated outside Brazil. Bringing this methodology to the country reinforces that we are working with technology towards sustainability and increased efficiency in the field. This series of events presents machines as providers of sustainable agriculture and high production rates. An important part of the inputs for every crop is linked to machines and, therefore, efficient machinery is essential to guarantee the success of agriculture and the preservation of important resources, such as soil and water”, concludes Cunha.

Bringing intelligent and open agricultural solutions, which can be integrated with other technologies and partners that producers have during the production cycle, the Massey Ferguson dealership network now offers the complete package of Farm Solutions products and services to farmers across the country. In partnership with Solinftec, Tecgraf and InCeres, Farm Solutions, an agronomic service package, was created to assist rural producers in the transition process to digital agriculture, which requires the collection of information about all processes in the field in a timely manner. real.

Among the largest in its category, Momentum has versions of 24 (10,2 meters working width), 30 (10,2 meters) and 40 lines (18 meters), 45 cm spacing and 5.130 liter storage box of seeds. Extremely simple to change your spacing, you can change it from 45 cm to 50 cm in less than two hours with the 40-line option. Folded in less than 1 minute, the planter is 3,6 meters long, the smallest transport width, without the need to disassemble any component and can easily pass through gates and bridges while being pulled by the tractor.

Available in grain and sugarcane versions, the main differentiator of the equipment is the spray bar (24 or 30 meters, on the MF 9330, and 32 meters, on the MF 9335) developed for current field challenges. The improvements to the MF 9330 allow for better performance in field operations and longer equipment life. This way, the machine has better performance and a longer useful life. The central frame, with a pendulum system using rollers, allows for a more homogeneous height when applied, even on uneven terrain, avoiding lateral displacement and reducing environmental impact during application and waste.

The MF 9695 model, in class 6, is equipped with an 8.4-liter AGCO Power turbo intercooled six-cylinder engine, capable of delivering up to 390 hp. Field tests showed that, under ideal conditions of use, the MF 9695 reduces fuel consumption by up to 30% compared to the previous model. The MF 9795 combine, class 7, has a 9,8-liter AGCO Power seven-cylinder engine, capable of delivering up to 450 hp and guaranteeing the necessary power while saving fuel. The MF 9895 harvester, also with a 9,8-liter AGCO Power seven-cylinder engine, which can reach 500 hp, has a higher grain unloading rate (150 liters per second) and a tank with a storage capacity of 12.334 liters. .
