“We will make this the best edition of the Rural Show”, says Dilvo Grolli
The Rural Show returns to its in-person stage after two years – in 2021, it took place online
Created to reduce bureaucracy in credit analysis processes, NeoCred, an arm of the SWA group in Medianeira (PR) with technology and expertise in the financial market, aims to bring communication between agencies and cooperatives closer, as well as advancing commercial strategies.
The platform facilitates the granting of proposals and credit analysis with practicality and security. Centralizing information between headquarters and agency, leading to significant results: in 2020 and 2021 alone, more than R$1,4 billion in released credit were processed and more than 70 cooperatives with more than 892 branches were served. “With constant development, we aim to be among the top 3 in the commercial and rural credit technology market by 2026”, says NeoCred’s Technology Director, Rafael Pagani.
The platform for capturing rural credit proposals was born from the research work of a group of small cooperative producers from the Cooperative Credit System (Sicredi) guided by NeoCred, and was awarded as an innovation product in the rural market last year. Once again, it competes as an innovator in the sector, in an international competition in Sweden.
In Brazilian lands, the NeoCred tool will be presented at Show Rural, one of the biggest agribusiness events, scheduled to take place between the 7th and 11th of February, in the city of Cascavel (PR). The expectation is to generate large businesses, especially because the tool serves the entire production chain and is not limited to connecting members and cooperatives. “We will be there [at Show Rural], presenting our tool to other cooperatives and bank agencies, of course, but also to commercial establishments that work with credit. As partners, they can hire the tool, as it is excellent for prospecting and finalizing new customers, which increases the volume of credit”, anticipates Pagani.
New partners have advantages in negotiation: they can simulate and forward requests to cooperatives, attach documents, interact with agencies and monitor the evolution of their proposals in the stages of the contracting process. Cooperatives that join can set their own business rules, creating their profiles and, by crossing data using artificial intelligence, informing what is possible to offer the producer. Also, with the BI (Business Intelligence) service, they can help each other, even lending money between one cooperative member and another. It works in an app format and, through it, the member has access to the same services that they could find physically, but with the advantage of speed, access location and the palette of extra options, only available via app. Simulator, proposal creation, inspection, electronic signature, automation, BI, stock exchange monitoring and available credit management are some of the tool's main features: all in one place.
Every step can be monitored through real-time notifications and, throughout the process, missing documents can be attached digitally. The application also prevents producers from picking up the phone, calling their cooperative and asking: “How is my process going?”
“When we think about the project, we think about the members’ pain, about creating something assertive, about communication between the member and the cooperative. It is the result of cooperation. Before the application, the producer had to get the paperwork and run after the cooperative, which was time-consuming. Now, from his own property, he collects all the information he needs, can send an electronic signature, place his order, send photos and audio”, explains Pagani.
