Cras Agro promotes the 2nd edition of the producers' meeting on the 27th, a Thursday. The objective is to encourage production in the 2023/24 peanut harvest.

The event takes place in the municipality of Itaju (SP), approximately 50 km from the cities of Jaú and Bauru, bringing together regional originators to publicize the plan for the next harvest.

“The meeting should have massive participation from local peanut growers, bringing together representatives from farming, research and industry. We hope to shake up the sector, bringing news and special conditions to partner producers”, he comments Rodrigo Chitarelli (in the photo), CEO of Cras Brasil.

The main innovations in the sector will be presented, including: the results of research on new cultivar varieties developed in Embrapa and IAC research and improvement programs; demonstration of technological innovations, such as spraying crops with drones and using permitted pesticides; technical information to reduce production costs and obtain greater productivity; and peanut market data.
