Course for agribusiness professionals offers diplomas in Brazil and France

Agribusiness is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Brazilian economy and increasingly requires the presence of trained professionals with international knowledge. And to stand out in this market, you need quality training, in tune with innovations in the sector.

The Álvares Penteado School of Commerce Foundation (FECAP), in São Paulo, and the Audencia Business School, in Nantes, France, offer a unique opportunity: study a Master of Science in Food and Agribusiness Management in France, completing the international module at FECAP; or just the Brazilian module, "Agribusiness Advanced Course", with online classes.

Full course 

The complete Master of Science in Food and Agribusiness Management course will be taught in the French city of Nantes, with classes scheduled to start in September and lasting a total of 3 semesters, totaling 510 hours.

Brazilian module 

It is also possible to only study the International module at FECAP, which offers a specialization certificate in Agribusiness Advanced Course. The Brazilian course will have online classes, full time, from March 15th to May 07th, with a total workload of 120 hours.

Students who wish to complete their curriculum in France will receive a Master's degree in Food and Agribusiness Management from the French University and an MBA in Agribusiness from FECAP.

The Agribusiness Advance Course class of 2021 is expected to be attended by students from 16 countries: Brazil, Kazakhstan, China, Colombia, France, Ghana, India, Lebanon, Lithuania, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Kenya, Republic of Benin, Republic from Mali and Vietnam.

The investment for the Brazilian module is R$8, which can be paid in three installments. FECAP students or alumni have a 50% discount on the price.

For both types of the program, it is essential that participants have an advanced level of English.

The full course includes lectures and workshops led by industry experts, field and/or virtual trips to SME, SMI and multinational agribusiness companies. Furthermore, participants take part in collaborative and interdisciplinary activities between students from Agribusiness, Design, Veterinary, Law and Administration (ID4FOOD).

When completing a full course load in France, there is the possibility of completing a global “hands-on experience” internship. The program has the support of ABAG (Brazilian Agribusiness Association), and students visit leading companies in the segment in Brazil, in non-pandemic periods, such as: Cacau Show, Fazenda de Café 7 Senhoras, GS1, in addition to the visit to the largest Agribusiness exhibition in Brazil: AGRISHOW in Ribeirão Preto, SP.

The complete program is taught by leading professors from Audencia Business School and FECAP, and by highly specialized professionals in the production chain and food industry.
