Reseller Case IH opens three stores in the western region of Paraná
JMalucelli Agromáquinas, a Case IH reseller, begins the second half of the year by opening three stores in the western region of Paraná: Cascavel, Vitorino and Medianeira
This weekend, the passage of a cold front through the Southeast Region will make the weather very unstable and with the possibility of rain showers in several areas of Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso. On the one hand, the rain will increase soil moisture levels, ensuring better conditions for the development of winter crops, such as wheat, coffee and sugar cane. However, instability will also make harvesting work unfeasible, especially corn, coffee and sugar cane, without affecting crops.
It should be noted that there are strong risks of occasional rain showers occurring over some locations in Mato Grosso between Saturday (04) and Tuesday (07), since the movement of the cold front through the Southeast Region can organize areas of instability over the Central-West. The regions most likely to experience rain are Rondonópolis, BR-163 and the western part of the state.
Rainfall will not be welcome in these locations, as there is still a lot of cotton in the field and, as a result, rain can now affect the quality of the fibers. Something very similar to what happened in August 2017, when two good episodes of instability were recorded in Mato Grosso. All of this is directly related to the warming of the waters of the central Pacific.
In the South, the weather remains firmer with only possible isolated rain showers forecast in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. The dry weather in these states will not affect the development of winter crops in any way, as the soils still maintain high levels of moisture. However, in Paraná the forecast will continue to be for more significant and widespread instability.
Temperatures for crops in Brazil
Temperatures will continue to gradually rise throughout this weekend. However, at the beginning of next week, the presence of a new mass of polar air over Rio Grande do Sul could, once again, lead to a sharp decline in minimum temperatures. There is no forecast of frost as recorded this week. In the Southeast, temperatures will even suffer a slight decline, however, nothing that could cause concern for producers.
