Cotrijal carries out food collection campaign

As a way of alleviating the social impact caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Cotrijal launched this Friday, the 15th, the campaign to collect non-perishable food Together to Win. The initiative - one of the actions of Day C of Cooperating - aims to increase the basic food basket for families in vulnerable situations and runs until July 4th.

Always on the field and alongside the communities where it operates, Cotrijal hopes that everyone will join the campaign and spread empathy. “At this delicate moment, solidarity is fundamental. And we are once again engaged in this sense. I am sure the result will be very positive”, highlights President Nei César Manica. 

“Cotrijal has always gone beyond business. Look at the collective. He wants everyone's well-being. Believes that strength comes from unity. That’s why the campaign”, highlights vice-president Enio Schroeder.

To help, it's simple: just donate as many kilos of food as possible at one of the collection points, at the chain's supermarkets, spread across nine municipalities, and at Wholesale, in Não-Me-Toque (RS). 

The expectation is to mobilize customers, associates, suppliers, employees and producers. Also remember that the chain's supermarkets always have promotional inserts and product offers, which makes donating easier. 

In addition to two units in Não-Me-Toque, Cotrijal has supermarkets in Victor Graeff, Colorado, Tio Hugo, Santo Antônio do Planalto, Lagoa dos Três Cantos, Coqueiros do Sul and Lagoa Vermelha.

It is important to highlight that at the end of the action, Cotrijal will also make its contribution. The volume collected will be allocated to social assistance in the municipalities where the cooperative operates, which will be distributed according to the needs of each location.
