Corteva brings launches and solutions to the Rural Coopavel Show

In its 34th edition, the event is part of the official calendar of major national agribusiness fairs. The meeting brings together farmers and sector experts and presents innovations to contribute to the main challenges faced in crops. The company continually invests in research and technology to offer an increasingly complete portfolio in the areas of seeds, crop protection and digital.

Corteva's participation in this edition features several solutions to increase farmer productivity and profitability. An important launch is the Enlist System, one of the most anticipated agribusiness technologies that arrives to revolutionize the sector with a new biotechnology option for soybean seeds that combines high-performance genetics with the best management of weeds and caterpillars. Formed by the pillars of Seeds & Biotechnology, Herbicides and High Performance Genetics, and supported by the pillar of Good Agricultural Practices, the Enlist System promotes a complete experience and its main benefits are diversity, convenience, flexibility and greater control in application, which is why it is considered the simplest choice for productivity to evolve.

Enlist E3 seeds are tolerant to Enlist Colex-D (new 2,4-D choline salt), glyphosate and glufosinate ammonium. Conkesta E3 seeds, in addition to tolerance to the three herbicides, also contain two Bts proteins (Cry1F and Cry1Ac) for the management of the main caterpillars in soybean crops. During the event, it will be possible to learn more about the Enlist System through the varieties available through Corteva's licensed brands and own brands and through the herbicide platform, made up of the products Enlist Colex-D and EnlistDuo Colex-D, which can be applied post- emergence of soybeans and offer excellent performance, in addition to a reduction in drift potential that can reach up to 90%, ultra-low volatility and odor reduction. Another important highlight is the Pioneer brand, which completes 50 years in Brazil in 2022 as a great partner for farmers and continues to be the leader for the 15th consecutive year in the summer and off-season corn seed market in the country. The brand innovates once again and presents the Optimum AQUAmax technology, unprecedented in Brazil and with greater tolerance to water stress, contributing to the evolution of this market. The products have undergone the most advanced genetic improvement techniques to provide maximum productivity even in adverse conditions, in a research process conducted over the last 10 years in Brazil and more than 40 years worldwide. Brevant Sementes will also be at the event and will take participants on a guided tour of its planted area. The brand presents, first-hand, the cultivars with Enlist E3 and Conkesta E3 biotechnology, developed tailor-made for Brazilian farmers, with high-performance genetics, high production potential and health. 

In the area of ​​crop protection, producers will be able to discover several new features that contain the innovation present in Corteva's DNA and were developed after many years of research, with a focus on helping farmers' daily lives and maximizing productivity, such as Viovan fungicides and Aproach Power, the herbicide Paxeo, the insecticide Expedition, and the launches of the biological portfolio, such as Omsugo P, Inlayon and LumialzaTM, which represent Corteva's entry into this new segment and will complement the company's portfolio for the soybean markets, corn and cotton. 

Seed Platform

Pioneer: Corteva's market-leading seed brand presents corn launches with Optimum AQUAmax technology P3808VYHR (off-season) and P3845VYHR (summer), hybrids P3223VYH, P3310VYHR for off-season and P3016VYHR for summer. The products have Leptra or PowerCore Ultra biotechnologies, both with a high spectrum to help protect against the main corn caterpillars. For soybeans, the highlight is the new cultivar 95R40IPRO, in addition to the already known 96R10IPRO and 96Y60. 

Brevant Sementes: the Corteva brand presents the new soybean variety B5604E with Enlist E3 technology and the new cultivars Conkesta E3, B5595CE and B5560CE, which, as they have embedded biotechnology, help control the main caterpillars that attack the crop and provide flexibility in weed management, allowing the application of the herbicides Enlist Colex-D (new 2,4D choline salt), glyphosate and glufosinate ammonium. The brand is also taking to the fair the main launches of 2021 for the region, the corn hybrids B2702VYHR, B2801VYHR and B2782PWU, in addition to highlighting the hybrids from the Silagem 360 Program: B2688PWU and B2782PWU. Brevant Sementes works with PowerCore Ultra and Leptra technologies in corn.

Cordius: Corteva Agriscience's seed licensing brand, which together with partner seed multipliers, offers high-performance varieties to rural producers, such as: C2534E and C2531E, early cycle Enlist E3 cultivars with high productive potential and flexibility in crop management weeds, allowing the application of the herbicides Enlist Colex-D (new 2,4-D choline salt), glyphosate and ammonium glufosinate in post-emergence of soybeans. Cordius also presents the cultivars C2600IPRO, with wide adaptability, high grain weight and tolerant to phytophthora, and C2570RR, with productive potential with stability, wide adaptation, precocity and a healthy root system with aggressive growth. 

PowerCore Ultra: corn hybrids with this biotechnology have four insecticidal proteins that provide protection against susceptible populations of the main caterpillars that attack the crop, in addition to two proteins with tolerance to the herbicides glyphosate and glufosinate ammonium. Due to the presence of the insecticidal proteins Cry1F, Cry1A.105, Cry2Ab2 and Vip3Aa20, PowerCore Ultra corn seeds help protect against: Fall armyworm (Spodopterthe frugiperda), Stem Borer (Diatraea saccharalis), earworm (Helicoverpa sp.), Elasmus caterpillar (Elasmopalpus lignosellus), Screwworm (Agrotis ipsilon), Black Caterpillarsheets (cosmioides spodoptera), Armigera caterpillar (Helicoverpa armigera) and Pod Caterpillar (Spodoptera eridania). Crop protection

Viovan: composed of a combination of the active ingredients OnmiraTM active and Prothioconazole, it has an innovative formulation that does not require the use of oil, increasing the speed of absorption of the active ingredients and reducing the risk of washing off in the rain. The fungicide provides superior control against Asian rust, in addition to diseases such as target spot, brown spot, cercospora and powdery mildew, promotes protection with greater selectivity for the crop and offers visibly better results.

Aproach Power: Systemic fungicide that contains OnmiraTM active and Ciproconazole, offers flexibility to be used in the first and last application. Indicated for the control of Asian rust, brown spot, Cercospora and powdery mildew, the product is an evolution of the Aproach Prima fungicide, which farmers already know and trust, now with an even more innovative formulation, which does not require the addition of oil, to greater convenience in effective and lasting disease control.

Paxeo: a systemic herbicide formulated with the innovative ArylexTM Active technology, it is a new family of herbicides for desiccation, with residual action and long-lasting control of various broad and narrow leaf weeds, without antagonism with graminicides.

Expedition: new tool for managing stink bugs in soybean and corn crops. With an exclusive formulation from Corteva Agriscience, the Isoclast Active molecule belongs to a new chemical group, sulfoxamines, and has a different mode of action, making it ideal for managing resistance. One of its strengths is its excellent effectiveness in the nymph and adult phase. In soybeans, it helps to produce more and have better quality grains. #ProtectedCanivetinho. LumialzaTM: launching from the 2022 harvest, is a new biological nematicide specific for treating soybean and corn seeds that naturally protects plants from the beginning, providing producers with a broad spectrum of nematode control (Meloidogyne incognita, Pratylenchus brachyurus e Heterodera glycines), contributing to soil balance with each harvest and plant growth for greater productivity. 

Omsugo P: a new addition to the biological portfolio, it is a phosphorus solubilizer, that is, it increases the availability of phosphorus that is retained in the soil and enhances the efficiency of phosphate fertilization, providing more efficient nutrition with stronger and more productive plants. Furthermore, through exclusive strains, with high solubilization efficiency of Organic and Inorganic Phosphorus, it promotes greater rooting and better establishment of plants, maximizing their productive potential.

InLayon: another new addition to Corteva's biological portfolio, is a microbiological nematicide suitable for soybean and cotton crops, which helps to maximize the productive potential of plants and protect the roots, contributing to a healthier and more productive crop. With an exclusive strain, discovered in Brazilian soil, it is originally effective in controlling the main nematodes, providing better crop establishment.

Pasture
