10th Class of Agricultural Drone Pilots on the market
SC Agro Consultoria enters the final stretch of training another group of new drone pilots
In February and March, Corteva Agriscience holds the 6th edition of the Enlist 360º Experience, with the aim of demonstrating to producers, multipliers, distributors and cooperatives the performance of the herbicides and soybean varieties that make up the Enlist System. There will be more than 100 events in the field, with strict health and distancing rules, held in 22 cities in Brazil, including Uberlândia (MG), Sorriso and Primavera do Leste (MT), Rio Verde (GO), Ponta Grossa (PR) , Jacutinga and Não-Me-Toque (RS), Campos Novos (SC) and Balsas (MA).
During the meetings, participants will be organized into groups of 10 members and will be able to do a 360º turn to learn more about the solutions and results of the Enlist System, considered the simplest choice for the producer to maintain control of the operation and maximize production potential. of crops. “Corteva has dedicated more than 10 years of research to create these solutions that will help producers with some of their biggest challenges and contribute to improving productivity”, says Corteva Agriscience Enlist Technology Leader for Brazil and Paraguay, Christian Pflug .
The circuit presents the differences and benefits of the herbicides Enlist Colex-D (new 2,4-D choline salt) and Enlist Duo Colex-D (ready mix of 2,4-D choline salt + glyphosate dimethylamine salt), through drift and volatility tests. The products offer greater application safety, diversity, flexibility and convenience to the farmer. Colex-D® technology promotes a reduction of up to 90% in drift potential when the application is associated with the use of air induction nozzles, promoting greater sustainability for agribusiness and reducing the impact on the environment.
It will also be possible to see, first-hand, the launches of the Soya Enlist E3 and Soya Conkesta E3 varieties with high production ceiling and biotechnology, available under the brands Brevant Sementes, Cordius and Grupo DonMario (Brasmax, DonMario and Neogen). The Enlist E3 cultivars are tolerant to the herbicides glyphosate, 2,4-D and glufosinate ammonium. The Conkesta E3 varieties add, in addition to tolerance to the three herbicides, two Bt proteins (Cry1F and Cry1Ac) for the management of the main caterpillars in soybean crops.
The Enlist System presents differences, offering more security, flexibility and simplicity to the producer through the pillars of 'Seeds and Biotechnology', 'Herbicides' and 'Good Agricultural Practices'. Enlist represents the future of global agriculture. In Brazil, Enlist already has approval from government agencies, both for herbicides – which are already being commercialized – and for biotechnology. Enlist E3 Soya, already sold by Corteva in the USA, will soon be launched in Brazil. For the launch of Soya Conkesta E3, developed tailor-made for the Brazilian producer – as it is also an alternative for managing the main caterpillars of soybean crops – Corteva is just waiting for the approval of the product in the European Union – the destination of an important part of the soy produced in Brazil.
All Corteva technologies have guidance on their correct use, in addition to undergoing rigorous testing before being approved by regulatory bodies. The company also has a robust Good Agricultural Practices program that promotes technical training for producers, agronomists and consultants on weed management, integrated pest management, disease management, application technology and worker safety.
