Last Monday, June 3, Corteva hosted the specialized press for a dinner in São Paulo to celebrate the birth of Corteva Agriscience, which completed the separation from the DowDuPont holding to become an independent company, completely focused on agriculture. Corteva Agriscience launched with global scale, crop and seed protection solutions, supported by the expansion of its digital agriculture capabilities and diversified portfolio.
“It was a long journey, which served to unite us, the feeling is of creating something for history, the atmosphere is one of celebration and achievement. We are entering a new moment, and the tendency is only to grow and improve. Let's take care and be proud of our newly born and strong Corteva Agriscience, which is already among the leaders in the segment”, highlighted the President of Corteva in Brazil, Roberto Hun.
According to Hun, Brazil is the largest market in Latin America and the second largest for the company globally and with growth potential. In Brazil, the company has two thousand employees, 10 research units in different regions of the country, in addition to six production units and seven offices.
“Our goal is to improve the lives of producers and consumers by offering quality food, based on three platforms: crop protection, seeds and biotechnology and digital agriculture”, reinforced Hun.
Also present at the event were the commercial director of the Eastern region, Mariana Castanho, the commercial director of the southern region of Brazil and Paraguay, Sheila Pereira Albuquerque and the marketing director of Corteva Brasil, Douglas Ribeiro.
