Massey Ferguson offers complete line of no-till solutions
System occupies 33 million hectares in Brazil; method controls erosion, reduces soil temperature, improves soil quality, increases productivity and reduces production costs
Between August 12th and November 10th, Corteva Agriscience carries out 40 face-to-face training sessions for rural producers with the aim of helping them prepare to comply with Normative Instruction 06/20, which establishes rules for the registration of applicators of hormonal herbicides and the need for producers to provide information on the use of the product. Since 2019, IN06, created by the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development of Rio Grande do Sul, was already valid for 24 municipalities in the state and from June 2022, it will be valid for the entire RS.
In partnership with the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) in Botucatu-SP, Corteva maintains a robust training program in the region, which has already trained more than 1,6 rural producers. Specifically in this action, over these three months, Corteva hopes to train more than 800 producers at this stage. The new training will be in person, respecting and following all recommendations established by the World Health Organization (WHO) and public bodies in the State, with safety protocols such as checking the temperature of all participants upon entry, wearing a mask and distancing between people present, everything to bring quality knowledge to farmers with maximum protection and care for everyone's health.
The course has a minimum workload of 16 hours, divided into theoretical and practical parts, with content described in the IN, with a certificate valid for a maximum period of 5 years. The company also provides support to clarify doubts through lectures with consultants, according to the needs of local customers. By 2022, training will be carried out to serve around 2 farmers. Corteva reinforces that all training will follow coronavirus prevention health protocols.
