Corteva Agriscience participates in the 2nd Online Symposium on Nematode Management in Agriculture, which takes place from April 05th to 07th and is attended by renowned Brazilian nematologists. According to the Brazilian Society of Nematology (SBN), these organisms can cause losses of R$35 billion per year to Brazilian agribusiness.

On Wednesday (06/04), at 9:10 am, Orlando Garcia Júnior, Research Leader for Seed Treatment at Corteva Agriscience in Latin America, will give a lecture with the theme: "Bionematicides: the importance of controlling nematodes in agricultural crops corn and soybeans in Brazil.” On the same date, at 10:20 am, the executive will participate in a debate with other experts on Emerging Nematode Problems in Agriculture.

Corteva invests in research and new technologies to help producers reduce losses caused by nematodes. In addition to having already recognized insecticides and fungicides for seed treatment, the company now completes its portfolio with a new solution focused on nematodes for soybean and corn crops.

The online event, promoted by NPCT - Plant Nutrition Science and Technology, is free and registration can be done via the link:
