Created in 2017, the Prospera program offers small rural producers technical and practical training and access to inputs, services and the consumer market, with the aim of promoting income generation and development of rural communities in the Northeast. Over the years, program participants have had access to high-level technical knowledge, which has provided improvements in their corn crops and in the marketing of their production.

This digital meeting that was held on Thursday, July 02nd, on the sustainable high-yield production system is yet another opportunity to generate transformation, increase productivity and provide income expansion for farmers.

The training was conducted by Claudete Baumgratz, Technical Services Supervisor at Corteva and Technical Coordinator of the Prospera program, Renato dos Santos, Research, Postgraduate and Innovation Coordinator at the Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE) Campus Vitória and Estéfano Nunes, Coordinator of production at IFPE Campus Vitória, addressed corn cultivation and how to increase productivity by adopting seed technology and appropriate management.
