The future of Brazil's wheat
The National Wheat Forum takes place between June 28th and 30th
Influenced by the advance of the second crop harvest, which has benefited from the dry climate in most producing regions, and the consequent pressure from buyers, corn prices fell again, according to data from Cepea.
In Campinas (SP), the ESALQ/BM&FBovespa Indicator closed at R$85,65/60-kilo bag this Friday, the 24th, a decrease of 0,78% compared to the previous Friday, the 17th.
The most significant devaluations were observed in the regions that made the most progress with the harvest, such as the states of Mato Grosso and Paraná.
Conab indicates that the harvest of the second crop reached 11% by June 18, an increase compared to 4,9% the previous week.
