Coplacana opens second store in Minas Gerais

One of the most important Brazilian states for agribusiness, Minas Gerais will gain the second unit of the São Paulo State Sugarcane Planters Cooperative (Coplacana). The opening of the store in Pirajuba – located 97 km from Uberaba – will be on Wednesday, March 04th, at 18 pm.

The large store includes 750 m² of storage capacity for pesticides and foliar fertilizers, 250 m² for seed storage with air conditioning and 200 m² of administrative structure with differentiated space for members, an agronomist room for personalized assistance, as well as a modern meeting with media structure for meetings, lectures, training and qualification of the sales team.

In the new unit, in addition to the extensive portfolio of inputs (defensive products and fertilizers), members will find a great difference in services added to any type of agribusiness, such as barter and precision agriculture.

Coplacana's commercial director Roberto Rossi commented on the importance of this cooperative's investment in the Triângulo Mineiro. “We already operated in the region, which is one of the greatest powers in the Center-South, both for sugar cane and grains, we served at the Uberaba unit and began to grow in sales in the region and, therefore, we found a location with new structure, we reinforced the team and we are ready to earn significant volumes.”

The city of Pirajuba is part of the strong agricultural economy in the Triângulo Mineiro. At the unit, the cooperative will serve rural producers, mainly from the Coruripe, CMAA and Vale do Tijuco plants, supported by the Campo Florido-Cana Campo association. The location of the unit covers neighboring cities such as Campo Florido, Conceição das Alagoas, Frutal and Planura, where many cooperative members are concentrated.
