Coplacampo 2025 takes place from February 24th to 28th

Coplacampo, held in Piracicaba, São Paulo, is expected to bring together around 150 exhibitors and is aimed at the company's cooperative members and rural producers in general. Among the exhibitors is Sipcam Nichino Brasil, which is bringing a portfolio for sugarcane, soybean and corn crops to the venue.

For sugarcane producers, the company focuses on the insecticide Takumi, considered effective in controlling the sugarcane borer (Diatraea saccharalis). According to the manufacturer, the solution is effective in reducing so-called 'bored stalks'. "The pest causes severe damage. There is a negative impact on the weight and quality of the raw material", he highlights. Marcelo Palazim (pictured, right), an agricultural engineer in the market development area. According to him, Takumi also acts on other caterpillars that are difficult to control.

In corn crops, Sipcam Nichino is distributing the new insecticide Fiera and the herbicide Click. According to the agronomist Jose de Freitas (pictured, left), also from the market development area, Fiera is revolutionizing the management of the corn leafhopper (Daubulis maidis) because among its attributes is effective control of insect nymphs and the consequent breaking of the pest cycle.

The herbicide Click, adds Freitas, is making progress in the country due to the above-average results it provides to corn producers in controlling weeds that are difficult to manage and resistant to herbicides, such as black thistle, gall grass, milkweed, buva, bitter grass and caruru.

Shortage of multisites in soybeans

According to Freitas, the fungicide Fezan Gold will be another differentiator in Sipcam Nichino’s program at Coplacampo 2025. “This systemic and protective solution with multiple sites, whose liquid SC water-based formulation does not require oil, is practical and easy to handle and apply.” Fezan Gold, he notes, stood out among the most effective “premium” technologies in the Network Trials of the last harvest, in the control of Asian rust and other soybean diseases.

According to Freitas, at a time when the market is experiencing a critical shortage of protective or multi-site fungicides, Sipcam Nichino is fully equipped to largely meet this pent-up demand, through the normal supply of Fezan Gold.

Another attraction will be the company's multi-culture biostimulant platform, consisting of the products Abyss, Blackjak, Nutex Premium and Stilo Verde. "They make physiological processes more efficient in the crop cycle, in addition to reducing plant stress due to adverse weather conditions of humidity and temperature. They also activate natural crop defense processes," summarizes agronomist Marcelo Palazim.
