Copacol has a new Inputs Unit in Barracão (PR)

With this structure, the cooperative now makes products available with efficiency tested through the CPA, in addition to offering technical assistance from harvest to harvest.

Copacol has just implemented a new Inputs Unit, in Barracão, in the Southwest of Paraná. With the structure, the cooperative now makes products available with tested efficiency through the CPA (Agricultural Research Center), in addition to offering technical assistance from harvest to harvest.

“With this Inputs Unit, we complete the area of ​​operation in the Southwest of Paraná, enabling close service to the cooperative members, knowing the demands of each one. We have an agronomic team ready to serve the entire region, offering tested and trusted products in the sector, with the credibility of Copacol, which also opens up opportunities for the inclusion of new members in this area of ​​activity”, says Fernando Fávero, manager of Copacol inputs.

In addition to Barracão, the structure installed on BR-163, the entrance to the city, now concentrates services in the municipality of Bom Jesus. This is the latest exclusive structure for product marketing. Others are in operation in the municipalities of Ampére, Salto do Lontra and Realeza.

Operation

In the southwest of the state, the Cooperative is already present with Grain and Input Units in Capanema, Conciolândia (Pérola do Oeste), Pranchita, Planalto, Alto Faraday (Capanema), Pérola do Oeste and Marcianópolis (Santo Antônio do Sudoeste). Other structures are under construction in Nova Esperança, Nova Prata do Iguaçu and Flor da Serra (Realeza).

Boas-vindas

To present Copacol, rural producers from Barracão participated in a meeting held by the Agricultural Superintendency of the Cooperative, demonstrating the goals in the new area of ​​activity. With revenues of R$9,7 billion, Copacol stands out in agribusiness due to its intense involvement in field development. 

The studies developed by the Cooperative have become a reference for crop planning for members, taking advantage of soil conditions and increasing productivity with high-potential seeds. “The southwest region is now benefiting from this research that provides better conditions for choosing products suited to the climate and soil. Furthermore, we have the guarantee of good business, with the security of Copacol, which has completed 60 years of history in Paraná”, says the CPA manager, João Maurício Roy.

Copacol is made up of 8 thousand members and 16 thousand employees, who have the opportunities of a consolidated company. In addition to the high production potential of grains, diversification makes the Cooperative a reference in the agro-industrial sector, with the production of poultry, pigs, fish and milk.

Always Cooperate

Economic and social development is one of Copacol's main purposes, which shares the results. In addition to all guidance with work carried out in the field, cooperative members participate in movements. In surplus alone, this year, R$153 million were distributed. The company is among the ten largest in revenue in Brazil.
