Coopernorte opens registrations for the Cooper+ program for the 2024-25 cycle

Initiative aims to encourage the exchange of knowledge and the development of advanced agricultural practices among producers

Coopernorte, the largest agro-industrial cooperative in the North of Brazil, announces the opening of registrations for the 7th edition of Cooper+, a productivity program aimed at cooperative soybean farmers. Cooper+ is an initiative that aims to encourage the exchange of knowledge and the development of advanced agricultural practices among producers.

Cooper+ recognizes the producer and technical consultant who achieve the highest productivity in the soybean harvest in each of the participating regions. Furthermore, the participant who achieves the highest production average will be awarded the title of General Champion.

The program is aimed at active cooperative members, who can compete in two categories: Region 1 (Paragominas, Ulianópolis, Ipixuna, Nova Esperança do Piriá, Tomé Açu, Viseu, Quatro Bocas, Concórdia do Pará, Capanema, Thailand and Goianésia, all these cities in the state of Pará) and Region 2 (Dom Eliseu, Bom Jesus, Rondon Do Pará and Abel Figueredo, in Pará, and Açailândia, Buriticupu and Itinga Do Maranhão, in the state of Maranhão).

During registration, cooperative members must provide detailed information about management practices, technologies used and agronomic data necessary for program analyses. Registration is open until August 26, 2024 on the Coopernorte website (abrir.link/COOPER-24-25).

Cooper+ 23/24

In the 23/24 edition, the champion was Ediane Balbinot, from Rondon do Pará (PA), who achieved a productivity of 100,78 bags per hectare, standing out in "Region 2". Renan Urach, from Paragominas (PA), won in "Region 1" with 98,62 bags per hectare. The edition recorded an average of 86,93 bags per hectare, reinforcing Coopernorte's commitment to excellence and sustainability in soybean production.
